Your monitoring tool is good. Your words are incomplete.
A search engine does exactly what it is asked: it answers the question posed. That is precisely where the problem lies.

If the right term is not in your query, the information will never surface.
Not because it does not exist — because nobody named it the way you did.
This is not an anecdotal finding. It is the mechanism itself: niixam returns the terms your expertise could not produce because they belong to someone else’s vocabulary.
A tool whose every result you can predict teaches you nothing.
What niixam does
niixam handles the question. Not the answer.
Give it your topic as you would phrase it to a colleague. Not a query, no Boolean operators, no syntax.
The topic
Give it your topic as you would phrase it to a colleague.
The vocabulary
Concept families, actors, segments, technologies and peripheral signals.
The queries
The queries are ready to be injected into your databases, or niiwaa is launched automatically through to the feed you train over time.
The key point
You do not know what you are looking for!
On a regional real-estate topic, niixam surfaced the local daily press among the market actors. No equipped monitoring service would have listed a local newspaper as a real-estate actor. Yet that is where listings and local market movements appear.
The same topic, seen elsewhere
A concept never travels word for word.
Your foreign competitors do not search in your words. Neither do your suppliers. Neither do your buyers. When niiwaa retrieves niixam data, it reconstructs the vocabulary used in each market: the same concept, expressed as it really is locally.
A missing term is a missed signal. A missed signal in a language you do not cover is a market escaping you without you knowing it existed.
The French concept « immobilier ancien » may become old housing, holiday home or secondary residence depending on local usage.
Where does niixam fit into your workflow?
You only add the right terms at the input.
niixam is sold on its own. It does not ask you to change any tool: you keep your databases, subscriptions and monitoring platform. It is also the first layer of niiwaa, which takes the ontology and scales it: multilingual collection across 60+ languages depending on your subscription, continuous monitoring and actionable delivery. Niiwaa will launch up to tens of thousands of web queries for a topic you started. The information was already there. You could not see it. Then it has to be processed.
Your topic
Give it your topic as you would phrase it to a colleague.
The topic vocabulary
niixam builds concept families, actors, segments, technologies and peripheral signals.
The collection queries
The collection queries are ready for your databases, or niiwaa takes over collection.
What niixam is not
What niixam is not
Let us be clear from the beginning; you will verify it anyway.
It is not a search engine
niixam does not collect anything. It produces the vocabulary and queries. You can inject them into your existing platform or pass them to niiwaa.
It is not a replacement for your expertise
Among 428 terms, not all have equal value. Some are too broad, others off topic. The arbitration remains yours — but you vote by clicking through a constructed list instead of starting from a blank page.
It is not magic for closed topics
If the information does not exist anywhere, no vocabulary can make it appear. niixam reveals what exists but you could not see.
The concrete gain
The time saving, concretely
Users report a five-to-tenfold improvement during the framing phase of a new topic: the moment when you are looking for the words, before looking for information.
Measure it on your next assignment: time the gap between receiving the topic and reaching a collection query you trust. That is exactly the time niixam takes on.
The best demonstration is not ours, it is yours.
Test it on a topic where you are stuck
Choose a topic for which you have found nothing convincing: a niche market, a discreet actor, a poorly covered geographical area or an emerging technology whose terminology is not stabilized. Send it to us. We will return the ontology and terms to query in your own databases.
niixam and niiwaa are used in production by several major French industrial companies.
